Commissioners vote 4-3 on WCPSS $$$$

In a 4-3 vote today, the Wake County Commissioners approved an increase in funding (from the original budget proposal) for the Wake County Public School System. Although they stopped short of funding the full amount requested by the School Board, they did give the board 24.9 million instead of 18.9 million (I think).
